Free Shipping Day

I don't know if this is really good for the environment as claimed. I think the jury is still out on whether shipping business to home with online shopping consumes less fuel, but just the same this is a good deal if you plan on doing online holiday shopping. December 18th 2008

Another day another contest. Who couldn't use $250 of scrapping supplies!? Here's my entry into this EK Success contest. Just a few of my small punches...

Vintage Goodies

I love these jars, bags, and boxes full of fun items, that I've seen for sale on the web.

Naughty Secretary has bags of curios by colors and themes. Here's a green one that I liked.
One Good Bumblebee have "Jar of Whimsies" and "Pile of Paper" with cool goodies.

I found that D. Blumchen & Company is a good resource for obtaining some of these items separately. Here's a little sample of what I got there (vintage flowers, leaves, raspberries, & mushrooms).

Pancakes or French Toast?

Experiment: Can I make Pat's french toast?

Experiment Taken From: Amy's Notebook 08.21.08

Results:
This came out really yummy. It is like french toast and pancakes rolled into one. We all enjoyed the breakfast treat, including my 6 month old son (who really had rice cereal, but likes to pose for photos pretending to eat what we are having).

Conclusion:
There is no need to ask this question on weekend mornings now, you can have them both with this one recipe.

Choosing projects from Amy's notebooks is a fun way to be motivated to try new things. Plus this time it could get me a cool Flip camera. Next I want to try making a new camera strap for my Canon.
